multispectral Signature management 2d & 3d nets

Signatures in the five key spectral ranges (VIS, NIR, SWIR, MIR, and RADAR) are defined by different measurable properties.

Visible Spectrum (VIS): Focuses on the object’s colour and shape.

Near and Shortwave Infrared (NIR & SWIR): Examines spectral reflectance and shape.

Thermal Infrared (MIR): Looks at the arrangement and characteristics of warm or hot components.

Radar Spectrum: Analyses the spatial and angular distribution of reflected radar signals.

Hannagan Solutions Pty Ltd is the sole distributor for SSZ Camouflage Technology AG in Australia and New Zealand. For over 30 years pioneering camouflage technology, a Swiss company, SSZ Camouflage Technology AG works with partner countries developing and producing cutting-edge multispectral camouflage materials for both mobile and stationary applications.

Our tailored solutions are designed to meet the specific needs of our clients, setting new industry standards through continuous research and development.

The rapid development of drone surveillance technologies has made multispectral camouflage essential.

Adversary systems increasingly use sensors that operate across multiple spectral ranges to detect targets.

The textile properties of the coated fabric, such as temperature resistance, adhesion, and water repellency, meet the highest technical standards. Only chemicals recommended by the WHO are used to ensure flame retardancy.

Our camouflage nets provide excellent concealment in the visible spectrum. This is achieved through precise coloration and the use of an appropriate pattern, both of which can be customised by the client or optimised by our experts.

Colour deviations from the template are minimal, and a special micro structuring of the surface reduces material gloss from all viewing angles (bidirectional reflectance distribution function - BRDF).

Our products combine advanced camouflage technology with maximum protection. Using cutting-edge innovations, we create solutions that block detection by even the most sophisticated sensors across all relevant spectral ranges.

Camouflage limited to the visible spectrum is no longer enough. Multispectral solutions offer comprehensive protection, shielding against detection across various spectrums and significantly improving the safety of troops and equipment.

In the thermal infrared spectrum, our camouflage nets achieve outstanding effectiveness through convection and diffuse background reflection. The patented spectral curve ensures significant reduction of the heat signature.

The combination of reflection and 3D leaf cuts optimally distorts the thermal signature. The dense net material provides efficient concealment of hot spots without requiring additional thermal insulation materials.

Multispectral mobile camouflage covers ensure effective concealment across all relevant spectral ranges, from centimeter waves (RADAR) to ultraviolet light (UV).

By utilising radar-absorbing materials, vehicles are optimally protected against threats from modern, smart munitions equipped with radar seekers (top attack).

Our RADAR camouflage solutions also deliver excellent concealment in the RADAR spectrum (2-100 GHz). This is achieved through diffuse reflection of incoming radiation, whether from artificial radar sources or natural sky radiation.

All vehicle systems remain fully operational at all times with the additional benefit of the reduction in air conditioning power requirements by four to ten times at varying speeds in desert climates (NATO A1). This makes the camouflage kit not only a superior protection solution but also a significant reduction in heat

The camouflage kits are designed with maximum usability in mind: they allow full maneuverability of the vehicle and provide unrestricted access to handles, locks, and other controls

Chemical & MASS Decontamination

Barrier Protection – A combination of the tent’s skin and the inner liner. The LANCO CBRN liner provides superior barrier protection against liquid and vapour contaminants. Liners are provided with integrated connectors so shelters can be structured in any configuration (end-to-end or side-to-side).

Accessibility – Each shelter supports an attachable (single-person) airlock. The airlock provides access into and out of the Toxic Free Area without compromising its integrity. Multiple-person air locks capable of allowing access to patients on stretchers are also available

Air Purification – our Air Filtration Units (AFU) equipped with HEPA filters and active charcoal filtration are vital components of the LANCO air purification system. The AFU provides sufficient airflow to supply the toxic-free area (TFA). These components have been tested and qualified for harsh expeditionary environments and are used throughout the world protecting key personnel and assets.

Overpressure – The air filtration system creates a positive pressure environment (relative to the outside atmosphere) in the CBRN liner which establishes the Toxic Free Area (TFA) to ensure that the TFA is impervious to airborne toxic gases and/or particles.
